Because The Monarch is such a unique place, the food served here is also out-of-the-ordinary. To keep our fare delicious and healthy, no added grease or oils are used in preparing our main plates (especially fish and fries), handcrafted soups, sandwiches and appetizers.
Our handmade pizzas are known as the best on the river - and described as “the best I’ve ever tasted” by patrons from around the country. As a tribute to the owners’ Irish ancestry we also serve specialty items like corned beef, bangers and mash and great-grandma's Irish Potato Soup, Bubble & Squeak, Champ and our famous Irish Potato Soup. Of course we serve your favorite American dishes too: Sandwiches, burgers, chicken and handmade pizza. Did we mention the Rueben's are to die for? |
The Monarch Public House is also home to The FOUNTAIN CITY BREWING COMPANY, INC.
